Maruti Mineral Industries produces various sizes of zeolite – clinoptilolite products at its two different facilities, providing a scale of variety aimed to fulfill the specific needs of its customers. 11 different sizes of products can be produced simultaneously at our facilities. While one of the facilities is completely specialized in the production of micronized products, the other facility produces all types of granule sizes, beside powder production. Particle size plays an important role in many industries and applications since it influences many properties of particulate materials. It is a valuable indicator of quality and performance.

In mining, there are generally three values to define powders in terms of micron size: Mz10, Mz50, and Mz90. Simply, these values respectively represent 10%, 50%, 90% of the product below the named micron size. For example, 200 micron (Mz50) means that 50% of the product (in weight) is below 200 micron size. Whereas 200 micron (Mz90) means that 90% of the product is below 200 micron.

Maruti Mineral Industries names its products according to Mz90 values. However most of the suppliers at the market name their products according to Mz50 values. A product named as 100 micron according to Mz50 value can easily be a match for 400 micron product named according to Mz90 value. As a reliable supplier, we believe naming the product according to Mz90 is the most trustworthy and safe method for our customers. Please don’t forget to check the particle size distribution analysis of the zeolite – clinoptilolite products, while purchasing a powder product.
